One pound of Burundi Kalico Mama Buthinda high grown coffee.
Notes of raisin, plum and cherry.
ROAST: Light to Medium
ALTITUDE: 5,500 feet
A new origin coffee from Africa's Muyinga Province. This coffee comes from a group of small scale farmers in North-Eastern Burundi and is a wonderful, primarily Bourbon variety of green coffee grown at 5,500 feet above sea level. This coffee has a great balance of body and acidity. Roasting level determines flavor, so we decided on a light to medium roast. A light to medium roast allowed an emergence of fruit notes of: raisin, plum, cherry, berry-like, black tea and a subtle floral.
